Our Approach
How we help young Africans build futures that last: steady minds, real pathways to work, and communities strong enough to hold them.
Who we serve
University students and recent graduates moving from education to work.
Where we work
Pan-African and delivered virtually, so distance is not a barrier.
What we offer
Non-clinical wellbeing support, career pathways and community.
The Challenge
Every year, millions of young Africans leave education ready to work, but far fewer formal jobs are waiting for them. Grades alone do not show them who they are professionally, or how to find their way in.
At the same time, the pressure takes a toll: the World Health Organization estimates that 1 in 7 young people aged 10β19 live with a mental health condition. Most support treats wellbeing and careers as separate problems: a skills course without the confidence to use it, or wellbeing support that does not change anyone’s reality. The pieces exist. The system connecting them does not.

The RISE Framework
Our approach to lasting change. Each stage builds on the one before it, taking young people from inner strength to shaping their own lives and communities.
R
Resilience
We invest in mental wellbeing tools and frameworks that help young people adapt, endure, and grow through challenge.
I
Innovation
Rather than copying solutions built for other contexts, we design with young Africans for the realities they actually live in.
S
Sustainability
Projects that champion genuine long-term impact that outlast programs, funding cycles, and any single generation.
E
Empowerment
Giving people the agency, tools, and confidence to shape their own lives and communities.
How We Measure Change
We measure what changes for young people, not just how many we reach, and we share what we learn openly, including what did not work.
At the start and at the end
Wellbeing (WHO-5) and work readiness, measured before and after every programme.
Listening throughout
Attendance, practical tasks and feedback, tracked every week.
After the programme
Follow-up with alumni, so we learn what happens next.
Stay Connected
Follow our work, hear about new opportunities and see what your support makes possible.
